Join Ulster Grassland Society

The Ulster Grassland Society acts as a forum for those interested in the management and utilisation of grass and forage crops.

MAIN OBJECTIVES

To encourage the adaption of the latest technologies, resulting from research, into farming practice.

Membership provides an opportunity to meet and discuss a wide range of relevant topics with fellow farmers, researchers and members of the wider industry.

To encourage the investigation of problems pertaining to grassland husbandry.

1 How to join

Membership is open to those with a keen interest in grassland and the furtherance of the Society’s objectives.

2 Membership fees

The annual membership fee is £15 per annum.

The preferred method of payment of the annual membership fee is by Direct Debit.

Subscription to the Society is tax deductible in Northern Ireland.

3 Students

The Society has a student membership scheme which confers the benefits of membership free to full-time students taking Agricultural Courses at College or University, for the duration of their studies.  Interested students should contact the Honorary Secretary.

Benefits

The scheme allows for sponsored attendance for a limited number of students, selected on a competitive basis, at the events of the Ulster Grassland Society – Annual Conference, Summer and Autumn Meetings.
