The British Grassland Society Summer Meeting 2022 is being hosted by the Ulster Grassland Society and the Fermanagh Grassland Club from 27th June to 29th June.
Day 1 – 27th June, visits have been arranged to two Dairy farms in Co Down and to the sheep farm of John Martin, BGS Grassland Farmer of the Year 2019. The day will end with a Gala Dinner in the Hilton Hotel, Templepatrick.
Day 2 – 28th June, a visit has been arranged to a dairy farm near Augher, Co Tyrone, followed to a visit to a suckler and sheep farm in Co Fermanagh. The final visit of the day is to AFBI Hillsborough and finishing off with a barbeque.
Day 3 – 29th June, a visit to a suckler farm neat Templepatrick has been arranged before finishing the Meeting with a visit to CAFRE’s hill farm at Glenwherry.
All visits must be pre-booked and transport to each of the farms is by bus only. There is a range of booking options available, including full and day delegates.
